Exercising is a GREAT way to stay healthy. Exercise not only keeps you fit, but also helps improve mental health. It is safe to perform physical activity before and after pregnancy.

Exercise is a great way to relieve stress!
Tips:
- Start at a comfortable level.
- Do both aerobic and muscle-strengthening activities
- Aerobic activities make your breathing and your heart beat go faster such as walking fast or jogging.
- Muscle strengthening activities strengthens your muscles and this is done by lifting weights or using exercise bands.
- Be realistic. 10 minutes of exercise is better than nothing.
- Find a time that works for you.
Stress-relieving exercise ideas:
1. Go on a 30-minute walk with a friend or with your child
Visit a local park. Find a park near you
2. Stretching can alleviate built-up stress. Perform 10 stretching exercises
